My client is recruiting for a technically strong individual as part of its growing Family team. They require someone who wants to be part of a progressive, ambitious and commercially successful, but also friendly, firm.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in all areas of private family law. They will be a great team player looking for an exciting opportunity to develop and progress their career in this area. My client views this as a real growth area for the firm and is committed to finding the right person to take it forward. They are looking for candidates with a strong network of both clients and referrers in the local and surrounding areas. However, they are always interested to hear from talented individuals outside the area who have a proven track record in winning new clients, forming long-standing relationships and building a caseload. Whilst 3 to 5 years' PQE would be ideal, candidates with fewer or more years' PQE are also encouraged to apply
The Role
Providing legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements and financial arrangements.
Building on what is currently a small mixed caseload of divorce and financial remedy work.
You will be prioritising workloads whilst remaining resilient under pressure and competing demands.
Providing quality client service and considering this together with relationship building, a high priority.
Skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex legal concepts to clients.
Proficient IT skills for document preparation, case management, and communication purposes.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards clients during sensitive situations.
Strong analytical skills to assess cases and develop effective legal strategies.
Be self-motivated and capable of working to deadlines.
Be a team player whilst also able to work alone.
Enjoy building relationships across the teams.
Possess strong communication skills, a flexible approach and a willingness and desire to help grow the team.
