We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Lawyer to join our legal team. This role involves representing clients in various family-related legal matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption. The Family Lawyer will work closely with clients to provide tailored legal advice and support throughout their cases.

Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations with opposing parties. Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, agreements, and court filings. Conduct thorough research on relevant laws and case precedents to support client cases. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress. Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about their case status and legal options. Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive client service.

Requirements

Qualified solicitor or barrister with a valid practising certificate in family law. Proven experience in handling family law cases is essential. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards.

Pay: 50,000.00-65,000.00 per year
