We are looking for an experienced family law paralegal to join our team in our London City office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in family law who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
Assisting solicitors in managing client files and related administrative matters.
Managing client files under supervision, dependent on experience and competence.
Liaising with clients, courts and third parties.
Providing clients with clear, professional support while upholding the highest standards of client care and service.
Preparing bundles for hearings and assisting with case management tasks.
Efficiently managing diaries, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings to support the legal team.
Managing the closing and archiving of files in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Handling calls from existing clients and new enquiries, providing professional and supportive assistance while gathering relevant information.
Key skills and experience
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual who takes pride in delivering excellent client service. Experience in a law firm would be beneficial but is not essential. The most important qualities are:
Candidates should ideally have completed a law degree or equivalent.
Ability to use your own initiative and prioritise workloads effectively.
Strong IT skills - experience using case management systems is an advantage.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
