Working as part of Vice Chancellors Office, you will assist the Associate Director of Health and Safety by promoting and advising the Greenwich Business School and Faculty of Education Health and Human Sciences (FEHHS) on health and safety matters related to their activities; providing competent health and safety advice, reviewing related risk assessments / codes of practice, conducting investigations into significant incidents, ensuring all H&S post holders complete relevant training to enable them to complete their tasks, and maintaining associated local records.
Helping the Faculties to meet and surpass their statutory obligations for health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining the wellbeing of staff, students, contractors and visitors in support of the University\'s Corporate Strategy.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years\' experience working as a health and safety professional, reviewing and assessing H&S performance and providing advice to achieve positive changes in practice. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work both on their own initiative and collaboratively within the team.
