Country Style Foods is a modern-craft, artisan, family-run bakery business, with a history of over 150 years in the industry. We have been producing the highest quality bakery products for over 60 years, supplying leading supermarkets and food service customers throughout the UK.

Country Style Foods are growing and having secured new business, are now recruiting for additional Factory Trainers to join our dedicated and friendly team on both our Day and Night shifts. As a member of the training team, you will provide valuable support across the shifts, supporting all colleagues be the best they can whilst working in line with site and customer requirements.

Main Duties

Help develop a positive training culture across all teams; Training scheduling, developing our people from day one following new starter induction; Direct training support for all colleagues ensuring our Food Quality Management Systems and Safe Systems of Work are kept up to date; Direct involvement in Gap Analysis and Risk Assessments; Continuous review of our safe systems of work documentation and knowledge questions for each process or task been used; Weekly reporting ensuring the all matrix's are fully updated; Provide training & assessment materials ensuring all colleagues are trained on each task as required; Auditing of processes on the job for continuous improvement; Up-keep of colleagues' training documents.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be required to undertake any other reasonable request as required by your manager. In addition, you will undertake any training that the company deems necessary that may assist you to effectively carry out the above responsibilities.

Skills / Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Trainer or similar role within a professional environment An understanding of manufacturing, managing the needs of multi-cultural colleagues; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail; MS Office proficiency would be advantage but training will be given; Food safety and HACCP training would be advantage but training will be given.
