FACTORY WORKER

Quay Fresh & Frozen Foods Ltd (The Fish Factory), New Quay, Ceredigion.

Temporary or permanent.

We're looking for friendly, energetic and hard working people to join our team at our family run seafood factory.

The starting rate is 12.75 per hour, increasing to 13.25 after a successful 6 month probationary period. The rate will further increase to 13.75 after 2 years with us.

A production bonus paid during busy periods.

The payroll is processed monthly

About us -

Our family business has been processing and exporting seafood for over 40 years. Currently in its third generation we now specialise in processing whelks. This process involves cooking, quality control, weighing and packing.

About the job -

6am start time busy factory environment lifting heavy goods grading and quality checking the whelks bagging up the cooked whelks and packing into boxes loading and unloading goods from lorries clean down thoroughly maintain company standards at all times

Our ideal candidate would;

have a good team spirit be available to work a minimum of 5 days per week be friendly and take direction well be organised and hard working understand good health and safety practices be legally allowed to work in the UK and have identity documents available for inspection possess a full, valid UK driving license and drive your own car to work.
A forklift license would be desirable but is not essential.
