Factory Operative Location: Chessington, Surrey Hours/Shift: Day Shift 7am - 7pm, 4 days on 4 days off on rotation Salary: Starting \xc2\xa311.00 per hour, with fantastic opportunities to earn up to \xc2\xa313.50 per hour within the next 3-6 months, overtime available at 150% Amazing opportunities to join a fast paced, and friendly food company based in the heart of Chessington, based on Cox Lane, within walking distance of Chessington North and Chessington South train stations, and with good bus routes is New England Seafood. New England Seafood International (NESI) was established in 1991 and is an importer and processor of premium fresh and frozen sustainable fish and seafood. We are currently in the search of full time permanent Food Production Operatives to join our day shift. You will be working with a great team who are fun and supported by leaders who themselves have grown through the business and are waiting to pass on their knowledge and expertise! Immediate start available for the right candidates. Tasks include: - Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, start up checks etc.) to start a production cycle - Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) - Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines - Loading products into trays and bags as per customer specifications - Preparing finished products ready for despatch and deliveries - Ensuring all products and packaging are correctly labelled - Adding cardboard sleeves to packed products. - Ensure all stock being loaded or unloaded matches the relevant paperwork / load plan. - Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy working environment - Manual Handling Equipment in a safe and timely manner.
