We have partnered with a really exciting business who provide lighting and rigging technology to some of the UK\'s most prestigious events and shows. They are seeking a facilities manager to join the team, this position will see the successful candidate working in the warehouse and head office to lead on all the facilities management for the site.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for:
- Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring efficient working practices
- Management of the building management system (BMS)
- Manage the sites Hard Services which include M&E, HVAC, plumbing, boilers, gas, lighting, electrical etc
- Manage the sites Soft Services which include cleaning, caretaking, grounds maintenance, waste disposal, recycling, pest control, catering services (vending and water coolers) and decorating.
- Work with Property Services and Health and Safety teams to ensure Health and Safety considerations are met
- Managing service partners for electrical and mechanical services and compare costs for services and goods
- Management of projects from both an operational and financial level
The Facilities Manager will have:
- Experience working in a facilities manager position, ideally in a Warehouse environment
- Technical background, ideally in an electrical or mechanical discipline
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and services
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with staff of all levels
