Position: Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Location: Central Cornwall
Salary: From \xc2\xa337,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 to 16:00 (with some weekend and OOH call-outs on a 1 in 3 weekend rota basis)

Role Overview: As the Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving and supporting the delivery of maintenance services for the hospital. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), conducting compliance checks, liaising with contractors, and providing first-line response to breakdowns and fault reporting. Additionally, you will oversee a team of maintenance assistants, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

Formal FE/HE electrical qualification
C&G 18th Edition would be ideal
Time served in an electrician role
Previous experience in facilities maintenance (ideal)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive approach and attention to detail
