Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects by analysing drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to gather necessary information for estimating purposes. Conduct thorough market research to determine current pricing trends for materials and labour. Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify potential risks and opportunities related to cost control and provide recommendations accordingly. Maintain detailed records of estimates, adjustments, and changes throughout the project duration. Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects.

Skills

Must have experience of the Facade industry Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in cost control methodologies and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. A background in construction or engineering is advantageous but not essential.
