What you will do

The incumbent will provide direct technical and training support to all external site stakeholders throughout the UK alongside enhancing customer satisfaction and improving quality. The purpose of the role is to support and enhance specification and sales, whilst continually improving company processes and products.

The role requires strong interdepartmental relationships with quality, manufacturing, logistics, technical and commercial teams, this is predominantly a field based role with UK travel involved visiting sites predominantly in the Middle/South of the UK, as such we will consider applications from a range of geographical locations.

Further responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage own safety whist attending sites across the UK both under construction and live
• Provide authority and be a subject matter expert on all matters relating to the installation of products within the P&P and Colorsteels portfolios
• Audit Platinum Plus sites for compliance with Specification and analyse and justify remedial action plans as a result
• Investigate and resolve site based and product complaints to the satisfaction of the customer whilst minimising the financial impact on the company
• Supervise the management and processing of all guarantees for P&P and Colorsteels
• Assist the External Site Services & Training Manager with the delivery of training courses for internal and external stakeholders to ensure full compliance with installation requirements and enhance product knowledge

What you will need

The successful applicant will collaborate with a wider team to seek and improve company processes and products from complaint investigations, site visits and feedback from customers at point of use. You will ideally have an excellent technical background in construction engineering, with demonstratable relevant experience or sufficient qualifications. We will also consider applications from those looking to work towards these.

• An understanding of construction/industrial building processes involving metals
