Salary: \xc2\xa360,000-75,000 (dependent upon experience) plus bonus, pension & benefits
Location: Primarily remote working with 2-4 days in the Preston office per month
The Role:
- Support the group\'s acquisition strategy through the assessment of the impact of technical accounting considerations on potential and acquired businesses.
- Responsible for the end to end process of reporting standard assessment through to implementation.
- Drive delivery of the group\'s transition to compliance under the various new standards.
- Support the group and divisions with the introduction of key sustainability-related disclosures and reporting standards.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience of assessment and application of IFRS or other accounting/technical standards.
- Big 4 or Insurance industry experience ideal (Life Insurance highly advantageous).
- Has experience or an interest in Sustainability Reporting (Climate, ESG etc.).
