Experienced Social Worker - Children\'s Social Work Services - Sevenoaks North (Inc Swanley), Tonbridge and Malling (SNTM)Role ResponsibilityAre you looking to progress in your career and expand your social work practice in an Ofsted graded Outstanding Authority?Are you passionate about supporting children and families, using your experiences and transferable skills?We are the right team, at the right time and in the right place.The right teamSNTM is a front line Service of 5 Children\'s Social Work Teams, with 5 team managers, 27 Social Workers and Senior Practitioners and 5 Social Work Assistants. The Service is responsible for supporting families from initial referral, undertaking quality Child and Family Assessments and S47 Investigations to understand how best to help and support the children and families we work with. We work alongside families who require ongoing Child in Need and Child Protection support and our Service sees through these plans either to Step Down to our Early Help Service, closure or progression through PLO to initial Court Hearing. And, proactively maintaining your awareness of changes in child development theories, legislation, policies and practices, you will share your knowledge and uphold high standards of social work.About youYou will be professionally registered with a degree in social work with Social Work England - CQSW, DipSW or equivalent - you\'ll have a variety of post-qualification experience of working with children and families. Your experience should cover systemic practice, and you will need an in-depth understanding of legislative and policy frameworks.Along with a willingness to learn and develop as a practitioner, being a team player is essential in any social work team. You\'ll build relationships with colleagues, as well as statutory, voluntary and private sector agencies.Salary & RewardsAnnual leave entitlement: As an Experienced Social Worker you will be entitled to 29 days (increased to 30 days after 5 years service). Kent also give their employees paid time off on or in respect of the yearly public holidays and also gives 1 additional concessionary day off in the year at Christmas time.As an Experienced Social Worker you will be entitled to \xc2\xa337,374 - \xc2\xa343,592 per annum.
