We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes and commercial properties. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests and residents.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure that all rooms are well-stocked with necessary supplies such as toiletries and linens. Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing as needed. Assist with cooking simple meals when required, ensuring dietary preferences are respected. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in all areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and residents. Basic cooking skills to prepare simple meals when necessary. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.44-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 20 per week
