Runwayskiln is a thriving, vibrant destination for great food and drink. We hold ourselves to high standards, and are looking for someone who can do the same. We are growing our business in 2025 and need some extra people to make it work.

FULL TIME AND PERMANENT | We have a rare opportunity to become a full-time, year-round member of our team. This is a role for an experienced, organised person with a positive attitude towards hospitality and customer service. Ideally, we are looking for a person who can work 5 days per week, but we have the flexibility to offer a 4-day week if needed.

The role involves taking a lead role in the cafe, managing a busy cafe floor (we take bookings for lunch for half of the year and are usually very busy with walk-in customers for the other half) and motivating and contributing to the management and training of junior team members. The role involves hot and cold drink preparation, operating a busy cafe counter, serving foods and drinks to customers and taking part in a comprehensive clean-down at the end of each day.

SEASONAL (PART- OR FULL-TIME) | We have one full-time, short term role (up to 6 months) and at least one part-time, short term role (up to 6 months). Runwayskiln can be a very busy site from the months of April until the end of September and we need some new team members to cover as much of this period as possible. The role involves hot and cold drink preparation, operating a busy cafe counter, serving foods and drinks to customers and taking part in a comprehensive clean-down at the end of each day. Runwayskiln is located on the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, above spectacular Marloes Sands beach. It is a coastal kitchen with a reputation for serving restaurant-standard food with a focus on fresh, vibrant and seasonal produce. The successful candidates will be people who are warm, articulate and have a keen attention to detail. Runwayskiln is an unusual and often very busy site and it requires certain qualities from all team members - we need people who are energetic, excellent communicators and calm under pressure.

Barista experience would be an advantage, but safe and hygienic work practices and a desire to learn is most important to us.

Duties will include: taking orders, dealing with customers bookings and requests, making and serving drinks, serving food, maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Runwayskiln is in a rural location and so access to your own transport is essential or living within walking/cycling distance is essential.
