Job Description

We have a new job vacancy for an Experienced Farrowing Stockperson on a farm in Devon (EX15).

The progressive pig business requires an experienced pig stockperson to join their team on their 1800 sow breeding-to-weaning unit.

The ideal candidate must have good pig knowledge, self-motivation and drive, and a proven successful people management track record.

Primary responsibilities on their weekly system involve serving, dry sow work and farrowing house work.

We are specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Excellent attention to detail and diligence
• Good sow husbandry skills
• High passion for welfare
• Self-driven attributes

This position would give the successful applicant an excellent opportunity to extend their experience in the pig sector.

Potential to progress within the business.

Salary Guide: \xc2\xa330,000 + (DOE) plus housing.

Hours: 7 am - 5 pm, plus 10 hours over the weekend every other weekend.
