Experienced Bar Person

Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit conscientious and proactive team members for our successful bar team located within our busy hotel. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, as a bar person you will be responsible for providing excellent service within the bars.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Providing a warm welcome for guests Providing guest service in the lounge bar and function bars, as per the hotel standards, including welcoming guests, offering advice on the products and services available, efficient service at the bar, table service, processing payments etc. Anticipating guests needs whenever possible and react to these in a friendly and efficient manner to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed expectations. Assisting in the general tidiness and cleanliness of the bars, ensuring readiness for service and all bar and ancillary areas are set to the required standard. Making sure the Company Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH legislation are adhered to at all times.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with the following personal attributes:
Experience in a similar role is preferable Candidates must possess excellent communication skills. Able to communicate in a clear, friendly and courteous manner, to both hotel guests and colleagues alike. Pro-active with excellent awareness and an eye for detail. Positive person with a passion for delivering great guest service.
Hours are mainly evening and weekend based set out on a rota basis, with full and part time positions available, however these can be varied as per the business needs and can also include weekdays, but not exclusively.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
