Job Description

Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead, the Senior Expeditor will be responsible for Supplier relations, Materials management, Project planning, Expediting, logistics and document control.

Details/duties:

• The Project expeditor will work with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure on time materials, documentation, coordination of inspections and correct deliveries of materials ordered. On site expediting may be required.
• Project expediter will work alongside supply chain to support the project, to meet demands of the client
• Building and maintaining close relationships with support engineers, ensuring all material requirements are identified and ordered
• Ability to run and coordinate status meetings
• Creation of progress reports and managing and updating of PSR
• Chair or attend planning meetings for assets and provide updates on all orders
• Liaise with the Inspection Team and chase suppliers if NOI has not been received for an upcoming Inspection
• Add all details of PO and copy of PO + PRF/SRF added onto Mtracker
• It is essential the Project expeditor has strong communication skills, alongside a proactive nature to work in a fast-paced project environment.

• Business Degree or HNC/HND equivalent
• Training/Certification - CPPB, APICS, SAP User
• Strong Communication and Negotiation skills
• Experience within similar discipline (Minimum 3 years)
• Experience in Project management
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and filing systems
• Well-organized with multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent Presentation skills
