Job Description

PRS are working with a well known contract catering company who are currently recruiting for an experienced full time Executive Head Chef to lead their Back of House kitchen Brigade.

The successful candidate will be required to work full time 5 out of 7 days per week, this may include occasional weekend or evening work depending on events due to the nature of the business.

Main responsibilities include;

• Management of a brigade of chefs & wider kitchen team.
• Ensure all food production, labour & GP targets are achieved.
• Lead the team through effective communication & performance management.
• Achieving GP through keeping costs down.
• Trains & develops the team ensuring there is a succession plan in place.
• Management of health & safety procedures & standards at all times, including adherence to food information regulations & food safety checks.
• Creating recipes, menu items & developing dishes to keep up-to-date with seasonal ingredients & current trends.
• Management of stock & ordering of food & supplies.
• Take on responsibility for food production covering employee dining along with an extensive range of pop ups.

Essential skills needed;

• +5 years proven experience in a similar role & environment.
• Have a \xe2\x80\x98big personality\xe2\x80\x99 with great people skills.
• Able to engage, motivate & train a large team.
• Excellent knowledge of food production methods.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to organise your own time & workload.
• Able to competently use a computer including all MS Office applications.
• The successful applicant must hold a Full UK Driving License & have access to their own vehicle due to the location of the job.
