ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Faculty Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator is to support and enable the Faculty Pro Vice Chancellor (FPVC) and their Leadership Team, and to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that key activities are carried out smoothly, effectively and proactively. The role holder will use their initiative and judgement to support and progress ad hoc project-based activity related to the work of the Leadership Team. This exciting role will support our activity in The Faculty of Arts, Design and Social Sciences.

The role holder will act in a highly facilitative way, showing a combination of focus and flexibility along with excellent communication and organisation skills and strong self-motivation when working in a fast-paced environment, and bring relevant subject-matter experience to the role, ensuring that the FPVC is supported with clear and timely information and insight.
