An exceptional opportunity presents itself for an Events Beverage Manager to be part of an iconic London Opening.

Reporting into the Director of Events Operations you will take full responsibility for the day to day running of the beverage element of event operations during each service period. Main focus areas for this role are ensuring that beverage orders are placed with suppliers in good time, liaising with the hotel Wine Director so ensure the events wine list is appeasing to clients and priced appropriately.

This role is responsible for building a strong beverage team including bar tenders and wine waiters who are knowledgeable and can provide the expected service to our guests as well as have the ability to upsell beverage during events.

Specifically as the Events Beverage Manager:

• Continually monitor beverage cost and being proactive in ensuring cost is in line with budget.
• Ensure that all beverage orders are placed in a timely manner and that any order issues are anticipated and acted upon.
• Supports the department as whole, when no beverage led events are taking place is available to support the rest of the team.
• Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
• Additional responsibilities in absence of line manager or senior employee.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.

• The ability to assist in the creation and management of a department with a positive culture resulting in guest satisfaction and a high team member retention rate.
• At least two year\xe2\x80\x99s experience working in the position as either Event Beverage Manager or Event Beverage Supervisor in a five-star property.
• A full understanding of beverage cost within events.
• The skill set of being able to follow a client brief and create a bespoke beverage offering form this.
