Showbase is a rapidly expanding event production company, based near Tatton Park in Cheshire. We work with a number of exciting clients, at some of the region's most talked about events. We are recruiting to our creative planning team.

We are looking for a pro-active and positive individual to project manage the installation of event infrastructure at a wide range of events, including corporate activations and festivals, food & drink experiences, film & television installations and pop-ups.

You will be joining the company at an exciting time in its growth trajectory, and will be at ground level in taking the company to its next level of development. We are a small team, and you will be a valued part of its inner workings in the next phase of the company's plans.

Role Specification

? You will be responsible for each of your projects across its whole life cycle, from quotation and concept to pitch and close, and all the way through to project delivery.

? You will be working under the Senior Project Manager and alongside the Operations Team to ensure your projects run smoothly and result in positive stakeholder experiences.

? Using our stock and project management software, you will be responsible for the task and budget management of your projects, taking direction from the creative team on brief, concept and deliverables.

? You will liaise with the Ops Team, Marketing Team and Finance Team to make each event run smoothly and hit deliverables for the company and its stakeholders.

? You will manage the logistics of your events, including drawing up event plans using SketchUp CAD software, drafting schedules, coordinating subcontractors and completing event plans and risk assessments.

Experience Required

? Solid event management experience, including independent or high-level involvement in planning, live involvement and evaluation.

? A demonstrable understanding of event infrastructure, including marquees, power and utilities and transport.

? Experience of developing and working within budgets, including profitability evaluation (pre and post event), using purchase orders, scheduling supplier bills and evaluating sales performance.

? Experience of dealing professionally and positively with stakeholders, including ticket-holders and clients.

? Experience of dealing with Risk Assessment and Health & Safety documentation

? Experience of dealing directly with subcontractors and suppliers, including price finding, scheduling and arranging payments

? Experience of using SketchUp is desired but not required.

Person Spec:

? You will be a creative and adaptable person, who is not daunted by the fast pace and ever-changing environment of the events industry.

? You will be practically-minded, and able to understand technical information related to the equipment needed for your events, such as generators and power distribution, bar equipment, marquees and structures, plant equipment and other event operational equipment.

? You will be able to master new software quickly, and will need to show the potential to become competent in basic CAD for event plan purposes.

? You will have good maths skills, and an ability to interpret and calculate event resource and material requirements.

? You will have excellent record-keeping skills, and will be reliable in making sure all your project information is up to date and accurate.

? You will be pro-active, positive and professional.

Qualifications Required

? GCSE Mathematics B / 6 or above

? SketchUp is a desired but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,000.00-36,000.00 per year
