A charity in London are looking for an interim events manager. 2 days a week and asap start. You will be paid on a day rate and helping with a conference.
The conference is an opportunity to hear from a variety of contributors and experts across a range of sectors to inform discussions on the prevention of gambling harm.
To support the delivery of this event, we are looking for an Events Manager to lead on the production and planning for the conference from a delivery perspective, including, but not limited to:
\xc2\xb7 Conference production:
o Venue management (in-person and hybrid planning, including booking additional rooms, managing capacity, online platform liaison with external providers)
o Attendee management (invite distribution, RSVP tracking, point of contact with attendees (with support from Support Officer))
o Speaker liaison (including scheduling briefings, collating content and arranging set up on the day)
o Logistics management (including technical features, microphones in the room, slides and collateral for the event (printing, couriering etc) and timings on the day and during set up)
\xc2\xb7 On-the-day event management
o Overall management and coordination of the logistics for the conference on the day, live problem solving and coordination of speakers, working alongside the venue and online platform providers.
Part time role - 2 days per week |ASAP start - working on annual conference until 6th December
