We are seeking a skilled, experienced, authorised electrician for residential and commercial projects.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Surveys, assessing locations to ensure they are suitable for solar panels.
Measuring up areas for installation.
Preparation of quotation.
Adjusting building surfaces so panels fit and are adequately supported.
Installing and maintaining solar panels on homes, business premises or open land.
Fixing solar panels and connecting them to an electrical system.
Grounding electrical equipment and checking wiring.
Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
Preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical components, inverters & modules.
Using a variety of technical equipment and tools.
Give practical demos to new recruits to help them learn the right way.
Adhere to all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
Driving Van to and from work locations.
Reporting progress daily according to project processes.
Reading Maps and drawings.
Processing of required paperwork.
Take ownership of work orders and report daily progress.
Liaise with team and clients.
Take proper measures to ensure everyone is safe during work.
Is proactive in helping the team if any help is required.
Self-motivated and able to take the initiative, and self-manage workload without supervision.
Essential IT skills with Microsoft Office knowledge.
