Job Description


A fantastic opportunity for an experienced European Account Manager (Partner Development) to join this world leader in designing, manufacturing, and installing environmental measurement and control instrumentation.

This is a key role in helping to achieve international growth targets, working to maintaining and develop strong partnerships with distributors in Europe. As well as working with European markets, the Account Manager will work with partners in the Middle East too (now that does make for a long job title!). This role would suit someone who has a technical background, with scientific, environmental or technology based sales experience.

  • Up to \xc2\xa360,000 + Bonus + Pension + Health insurance
  • Remote based within easy reach of an international airport for international travel.
In this Account Manager role you will proactively engage with international distributors and partners to support and build relationships with new and existing customers. As well as being responsible for the complete account management of each partner, you will seek to find and develop new representatives where required.

With a successful career in sales or sales support, you will be experienced in delivering innovative products related to environmental sciences, used to working within a client centric environment which seeks to make a positive impact through collaboration along with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of Account Manager:
  • Acting as the primary interface between the company and the international representatives / distributors in Europe and the Middle East.
  • Advise and guide representatives in relation to appropriate systems, solutions, products and services \xe2\x80\x93 including enquiries, quotations, sales visits and sales guidance.
  • Attend exhibitions and site visits to promote and demonstrate products and services.
  • Act as the interface with the production teams to provide technical and manufacturing information to enable successful delivery.
  • Long term relationship building with representatives and researchers to ensure brand positioning and market leading.
  • Identify, target and develop new representatives overseas where required.
  • International travel where required including overnight trips.
Skills Required of Account Manager:
  • Background in scientific or environmental solutions with highly technical products
  • Commercial and sales experience
  • Customer focused approach, building successful commercial relationships
  • People management, leading, coaching and mentoring
  • Relationship Building and influencing skills
  • Organised, able to manage and maintain data quality with good attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Innovative approach, seeking creative and new ways to achieve
