ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Global Supply Chain Services deliver streamlined end-to-end logistics solutions across 70 countries. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced European Account Manager to join our GSCS sales team. The focus will be to engage new vendors to the Indian SI (system integrator) portfolio. This will entail driving sales growth across multi-vendors through building strong relationships and demonstrating initiative and speciality expertise.
Attributes required to succeed in this pivotal position include enthusiasm, tenacity and highly effective communication and negotiation skills. Also, important is a proficiency in MS Office, with intermediate level Excel skills.
The role is very much about meeting customers in person and so will require regular travel (based on customer demand) within the UK and Europe and visits to our Bracknell office to attend team meetings. Therefore, you will need to be based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
Identify new accounts and drive sales/growth across multi-vendors
Acquire product and industry knowledge
Deliver product presentations to customers
Engage with SIs (System Integrators)
Develop trust and good business relationships with our vendors
Understand and support vendor strategy and goals
Generate sales pipeline forecasts
Manage aged debt
ABOUT YOU
Required competencies, skills and experience
Overall, we are looking for a dedicated, seasoned account manager with strong business acumen, planning and execution skills, ideally with IT distribution or vendor experience.
Essential
Proven sales experience gained within IT sector - 10 years+
A self-starter who can make an immediate impact internally and externally
Highly competent in negotiation and influencing skills
A tenacious attitude to achieving results
Clear, effective interpersonal skills - verbal and listening
Willing and available to travel within the UK and Europe
Assertive and confident in speaking with VPs
A proficient user of MS Office, with focus on Excel (formulas and tables)
A strong team player who enjoys being part of a successful team
Desirable
Sales experience gained within the IT Distribution sector
Experience of Cisco would be a huge bonus!
