We are recruiting for an
E-Sports & Media Teacher
to join one of our most prestigious partner schools, a specialist all-boys SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school located in stunning rural grounds between Horsham and Billingshurst. This incredible school is set within 23 acres of beautiful land, offering exceptional facilities for their pupils and a truly inspiring working environment for staff.
Due to the remote setting of the school, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

About the Role:
This is a
flexible, part-time teaching role
primarily delivering the
Level 3 BTEC Diploma in E-Sports
to post-16 students. Candidates may be
qualified or unqualified
, as long as they possess a strong
background in E-Sports, Computer Science, or related fields
.
In addition to E-Sports, there is a need for
media teaching
, so versatility and willingness to support across both subjects is key.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging E-Sports and IT-related sessions tailored to the needs of the pupils
Teach media content where required
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Promote social and emotional growth through structured competitive and cooperative gaming
Support students' individual learning goals and behaviour plans
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of staff to support overall development
Contribute to wider school life and extracurricular enrichment activities

Ideal Candidate:
Passion for gaming, E-Sports and/or media, with the ability to link them to educational and therapeutic outcomes
Strong background in E-Sports or Computer Science
Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEMH or additional needs (preferred but not essential)
Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to rural location)
