The ERP Systems Specialist will assist our finance team in the upgrade to a new ERP system. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting testing data, preparing data, transferring balances, and ensuring a smooth transition during the system go-live phase.
Responsibilities:
Data Testing:
Conduct thorough testing of financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity in the new ERP system.Data Preparation:
Assist in the preparation and cleansing of data for migration to the new system.Balance Transfers:
Manage the transfer of balances from the old system to the new ERP system, ensuring all financial records are accurately maintained.System Go-Live Support:
Provide support during the go-live phase, including troubleshooting issues and ensuring the finance team is fully operational.Documentation:
Support the delivery of detailed documentation of processes, issues, and resolutions related to the ERP upgrade.Training:
Assist in training finance team members on the new ERP system functionalities and processes.Essential skills:
Proven experience in ERP system upgrades, preferably within a finance context. Strong understanding of financial data and accounting principles. At least part qualified accountant. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Unit 4 is highly desirable.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
