Ashley Kate are pleased to be to be supporting an well-established insurance company as they look to recruit two full time, permanent ER Consultants.
Role: ER Consultant - FT/ Permanent
Salary: Up to \xc2\xa342,000 per annum
Working pattern: flexible/ hybrid - 1 day per week in the office
Location: Bexhill, East Sussex
The role:
As an ER consultant you will be supporting leaders/ managers, helping them to understand and undertake the appropriate actions specifically with handling conduct, grievance and performance cases including MI analysis, action planning and individual bespoke case management strategies.
\xc2\xb7You will be effectively managing absence, conduct and performance via informal action and formal case management.
\xc2\xb7Successfully be able to navigate our Colleague policies and processes.
\xc2\xb7Achieve positive and reasonable outcomes for both Colleagues and the Company.
\xc2\xb7Manage employee relation case work, including supporting and coaching leaders on best practice.
\xc2\xb7Proactively work with leaders to drive and secure early identification and resolution of issues in our core ER areas.
\xc2\xb7Highlight any trends from case work to support the ER Partner with addressing the issue areas, through providing effective and informative weekly reporting.
\xc2\xb7Ensure that you (and any direct reports) are meeting customers\' fair and reasonable expectations and provide fair outcomes. Question and challenge peers and managers where processes and procedures do not meet these expectations and any activity that does not place customers\' interests at the heart of how we do business.
\xc2\xb7Ensure that self and direct reports, if in place, achieve and demonstrate levels of competence required to fulfil job requirements.
HR Advisor - About you
\xc2\xb7Possess a proven background dealing with high volume Employee Relations cases.
\xc2\xb7You will have previously worked as a HR advisor/Employee Relations Consultant or someone who has experience in a Leadership role and is well versed in employee relation matters.
\xc2\xb7Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues in a straightforward way.
\xc2\xb7You will be highly organised and methodical with great attention to detail.
\xc2\xb7Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding or processes involved in absence management, conduct grievance and performance cases including MI analysis.
