Established in 1991, JY Hygiene Supplies Ltd is a family owned and run biomedical engineering and consumable supply company, with customer care and support at its core. The company supplies continence management, janitorial and medical products, as well as a wide range of medical equipment.

Since 2008, JY Hygiene has become one of Northern Ireland's leading providers of patient moving and handling equipment. In addition to a range of staff and product training, J.Y. Hygiene provides tailor-made equipment maintenance programs for care homes, community groups and hospitals.

Due to continued expansion within our service department, we currently have a vacancy for the following full-time position working within the greater Belfast area:

Equipment Installer

:

Responsible for installations and removals of patient moving and handling equipment in clients' homes, such as profiling beds, hoists, mattresses, and seating systems. Candidates should be physically fit, have a positive 'can do' attitude and show an enthusiastic willingness to learn. They will form part of the wider engineering team who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of maintaining patient moving and handling equipment throughout hospitals and community settings, across Northern Ireland.

Given the nature of this role, it is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance from Belfast.

Skills required:

Physically fit with no underlying health problems A general mechanical knowledge of how things work Excellent communication skills Due diligence and a strong attention to detail A good understanding of health and safety The ability to work on their own and as part of a wider team A clean driver's license and be able to go through Access NI Vetting A good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland and, in particular, the greater Belfast area.

The successful candidates will receive full training, an excellent remuneration package including a company van, uniform, tablet and mobile phone
