About the Role:

Reporting to our Director of Data Governance & Product Data, you will own and manage the backlog for one or more product features within the Enterprise Product Hub (EPH). You will be responsible for driving enhancements and supporting adoption of EPH across the Elsevier landscape. Representing product domain(s) to peers, managers, and executives across the company and to external audiences. Actively mentoring and informally leading cross-functional team members. Developing strong technology relationships looking for ways to address stakeholder needs and will be seen as a critical stakeholder for feedback on new feature ideas. Informally coaching more junior team members. Your success will ultimately be measured by the level of adoption of EPH as the single master source of core Product Data across the whole company.

Responsibilities :

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborating in driving the adoption of a data focused culture by demonstrating well-structured communication and evidence-based storytelling to increase the visibility of EPH and our broader Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) vision and strategy

Requirements Gathering: Engaging with direct and indirect stakeholders to gather requirements. Translating these requirements into clear and actionable user stories or specifications that guide the development process

Product Data Governance: Identifying, defining, and maintaining standards to be followed by data contributors to ensure the quality and reliability of EPH data is consistent and fit-for-purpose

Metrics and Analytics: Defining and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of EPH in alignment to the EDA Objective Key Results (OKRs)

Guide & Support the EPH Team: Providing coaching, feedback, and advice to the EPH team to empower, and grow your colleagues. Building explicit knowledge on the EPH technology stack within the EPH team

Documentation, Training & Support: Guiding the EPH team in creating documentation, user handbooks, and training materials to assist users and internal teams to utilise EPH\xe2\x80\x99s many functions and features. Providing customer focused support, education, and training within defined agreements with our EPH stakeholders

Requirements

Experience with Data & Analytics and knowledge of MDM, sound knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance and Metadata Management

Experience with solving problems and bringing solution options that meet or exceed the requirements and are practical, implementable, and effective

Ability to both actively listen to and effectively question to understand another\xe2\x80\x99s viewpoint and assist the EPH team by communicating the appropriate business context

Ability to inspire, enthuse and collaborate with groups of people from diverse backgrounds, skill levels and located across the global business

Communication skills, written and verbal, including the ability to work effectively at other people\xe2\x80\x99s level of confidence

Experience at promoting high levels of cooperation and engagement between all members of the team, taking on a leading role where required
