Environmental Crime Officer
Job Description
This contract with our government client is for a Environmental Crime Officer for 12 months. The role is located in Nottingham and is hybrid. There is no minimum requirement for the amount of days needed onsite as it depends on the work. The pay rate is up to \xc2\xa3181.53 (Umbrella) / \xc2\xa3135.11 (PAYE).

In this role you will need to be part of a team providing the area lead on enforcement, undertake specialist enforcement including investigation, surveillance and preparation of cases to help protect and serve the environment. You will also need to carry out illegal waste site visits/investigations
Requirements
- Experience of investigating criminal offences (for example within police force)
- Investigative background (for example within a local authority, HMRC, etc)
- Knowledge of Law enforcement legislation required i.e. PACE/CPIA/RIPA
- General understanding of law enforcement
- Experience in exhibit handling, taking statements, etc.
- Full driving licence
- Environmental crime investigation/enforcement background would be a huge bonus
- Knowledge of Environmental Legislation (enforcement) desirable
