Are you looking to build a career in environmental consultancy? Our client is seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team, providing technical and project support across a range of environmental and sustainability-focused developments.
The Role:
Reporting to the Environmental Director or Principal Environmental Consultant, you will contribute to a variety of environmental projects, supporting clients with assessments, applications, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
xc2xb7Prepare Environmental Permit applications (including variations, transfers, and surrenders) while liaising with internal teams and external organisations.
xc2xb7Assist in the preparation of Planning Applications and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
xc2xb7Support the development of technical reports and environmental assessment documents, including Air Quality Assessments, Noise Assessments, and Hydrogeological Assessments.
xc2xb7Provide assistance in waste & recycling, minerals, and energy development projects, offering environmental advice and supporting project management.
xc2xb7Help organise and supervise environmental technical assessments and investigations.
xc2xb7Carry out additional duties as required to support environmental projects.
About You:
xc2xb7Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, or a related field.
xc2xb7Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
xc2xb7Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
xc2xb7Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
xc2xb7Interest in environmental regulations, sustainability, and technical assessments.
