Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals and will possess the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. This role involves providing tailored educational support to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop personalised learning plans. Communicate progress and challenges with students and their guardians regularly. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles. Provide support for students with special educational needs, ensuring inclusive practices are followed. Encourage a love of learning by motivating students and building their confidence. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information. Ability to educate and inspire students of varying abilities and backgrounds. Experience or knowledge in special education practices is highly desirable. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed in their studies.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 9.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 24 per week
