Role Overview
As an Engineering Support, you will be an integral part of our site and workshop operations, assisting in various tasks related to engineering projects. This role will also require
on-site support
, ensuring you are hands-on and involved in both the workshop and field environments. You will work alongside experienced professionals and receive
on-the-job training
in operating advanced equipment, including laser and waterjet cutting machines, as well as etching machines. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build valuable experience in the engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with workshop operations, including tool handling and general site support.
Provide on-site assistance to engineers, ensuring smooth operations and project execution.
Learn to operate laser and waterjet cutting machines, as well as etching equipment.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring tools and machinery are used correctly and safely.
Support engineers in daily tasks and contribute to ongoing projects.
Perform general maintenance and basic troubleshooting of tools and equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of tools and workshop equipment.
A willingness to learn and grow within the engineering field.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to provide on-site support and adapt to changing work environments.
Previous experience in a similar role or workshop setting is a plus, but not essential.
