• Coordinate the development of Project Briefs based on the needs defined by Asset Management.
• Understand project risks and coordinate mitigation activities. Collect documents and information to inform contractor pricing and risk provision.
• Prepare and support technical reviews through the projects' Definition, De-Risking, and Detail Design phases.
• Carry out Technical Assurance checks and audits of Contractor activities and outputs through the detailed design and Construction phases of projects.
• Get the proper technical outcomes from the Project Definition Briefs and maximise value by understanding risks and providing mitigation.
• Input and continuously improve Technical Asset Standards.
• Provide Design sign-off between Asset Management and Capital Delivery as the Delivery Stream dictates.
• Provide Technical assurance during the delivery, commissioning, and handover of Assets.

These roles will be hybrid, with an office base in the Thames Water region. The role will require office and site visits 2-3 days a week as the business needs.The standard hours are Monday - Friday, 36 hours a week. However, we are flexible on working hours and patterns, so please apply if you are looking for an alternative to this.The ideal candidate will have access to transportation and hold a driver's licence, but please do apply if you do not currently have this.What you should bring to the role

• Hold an ICA, Electrical, Mechanical, Process or Civil Engineering Degree, or an equivalent Engineering HNC.
• Knowledge of developing technical project solutions and Briefs in their specific discipline.
• Understanding of project delivery in process industries.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety in the Construction Industry.
• Understanding of industrial processes in their engineering discipline.

• Competitive salary between xc2xa340,000 to xc2xa375,000 per annum depending on the skills and experience of successful candidates and the level of the role application submitted for.
