I am working with one of the UK\'s leading PropTech companies who are looking for a product focused Engineering Manager to join their team on their mission to become the leader in their industry.
This brilliant company has been at the forefront of innovation in the property sector for the last decade.
Your responsibilities as an Engineering Manager role will include:
- Coaching and leading your team of 5-10 Engineers (Frontend and Backend)
- Creating a team of high performing software developers
- Enhancing the delivery process while engaging in people management in a lean, agile environment
- Working with Engineers, Product and Data Analysts and Data Scientists
- Have experience in coaching and people management of engineering teams
- Advocate for modern methodologies such as TDD that produce a forward-looking working environment
- Have assisted team members progress both personally and professionally by leading 1-2-1s
- Are passionate about technology, architecture and people building
- Have a strong background in backend software development and in-depth knowledge of software engineering principles
Leading a team that includes former Ocado and ITV engineers, you will work alongside some of the UK\'s smartest developers.
