Full-Time Role: Engineer/Fitter
Due to increasing demand, BAWCo would like to present you with an opportunity to join one of the largest and best-established independent electric motor repair companies in the north of England.
We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated individual to join our experienced and innovative team.
Requirements
Experience working with electric motor systems
Basic understanding of single and three-phase low-voltage AC systems
Experience working with motors from fractional HP up to 500kW
Lathe work, machining, and welding skills are highly valued
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in the industry
Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations
Engineering qualification equivalent to Level 3 or higher
Job Role
Dismantling and fault-finding on various motor units
Cleaning, fitting bearings, repairing, and overhauling motors
Repairing and overhauling pumps, fans, and gearbox units
Operating machinery such as lathes and grinding wheels
Stock modifications
Carrying out hot works as required

Pay: Hourly rate (dependent on experience and skill level)
