Overview

Expleo have an exciting opportunity for experienced Engineers and Senior Designers. Based in Expleo offices, you will be assigned to a major defence project, where your skills and experience in 3D Modelling, 2D CAD draughting and checking will be fully utilised.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to):

• Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements.
• Implementing engineering change into 3D models and product data.
• Producing manufacturing drawings and releasing data following specific processes.
• Producing quality work while keeping within project budgets, time constraints and potentially changing requirements.
• Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams.
• Technical leadership and support to other members of the team.
• Checking / approval of drawing outputs once familiar with the processes and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in Engineering requied

Skills

• Experience in producing 2D Manufacturing drawings using CAD.
• Experience in checking 2D Manufacturing drawings against standards.
• Experience in altering 3D models using CAD.
• Understanding of change management and processes in an engineering context
• Microsoft Office Skills.

Desired Skills

• Working knowledge of Foran beneficial but not essential.

What do I need before I apply

• Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will need to be a UK National with minimum BPSS, SC Clearance will be required.
