2. PURPOSE

The In Work Support Service offers free and paid for services of support, for individuals living in one of the three localities, Cwm Taf Morgannwg, Gwent, and Cardiff and the Vale. Case-UK wider services also cover all of Wales and the Southwest of England.

This dual role position will require the postholder to establish robust and meaningful work partnerships with external agencies and employers to increase outputs, outcomes, and income. The post holder will also have the opportunity to deliver bespoke training packages to employees to boost wellbeing knowledge.

The role will support the corporate team to motivate and support a professional and operational team to achieve high performance levels, compliant activity, and customer service standards across Case-UK's provision of the In-Work Support Service (IWS) programme - Supporting participants with poor Health Conditions to remain and succeed in work.

The postholder will be responsible for contributing to the design and delivery of wellbeing training sessions for participants on the programme. These will be open to participants on the In Work Support Service from referrals made by organisations or individuals. Signposting and referencing to the Finu app for wellbeing surveys will be a key element of the role within the sessions.

The scope of the services provided will be for our delivery team to understand how a participants' mental and physical health condition is affecting them in the workforce and provide them with a flexible and personalised support programme. The role will also work collaboratively with Partnerships, Networks, Employers, helping them to understand the critical role they have to play in supporting employees and providing them with the required knowledge and tools to do this.

The service seeks to gain feedback from attendees to establish if good practice has been adopted and to look at potential learning for futures wellbeing engagement. The postholder will also seek to improve upon training packages and liaise with the Employer Wellbeing Trainer to establish any wellbeing needs.

3. DUTIES

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an effective communication and engagement strategy

Develop and maintain an up-to-date contact system.

Effective communication with workforce, partners (Local, Regional and National), public, private and third sector organisations including the Welsh Government, DWP / JCP and

Contributing to best practice sharing through shared resources, skills, know-how and expertise

To contribute to the development and delivery of educational programmes for participants on the In Work Support Programme, and other programmes of support offered by Case-UK.

To achieve the service

To actively participate in and contribute to the Case-UK Team. In Work Support team

To promote and maintain a culture of high levels of autonomy and inclusion.

Ensure the service establishes and maintains a map of 'meeting places' in communities if needed and identify people and organisations (both formal and informal).

Manage digital platforms and ensure knowledge of different technology and digital packages is up to date.

To co-ordinate the timetable of training and wellness sessions to be shared with the programme leads to offer the provision to participants on the programme.

To provide a quality service that is regularly reviewed and altered as needed.

To comply with and maintain all necessary administrative and reporting systems.

Manage your workload in a target driven environment to record engagement outcome achievements, gather evidence, and report on participant progress in line with Welsh Government, and Case-UK requirements.
To have due regard to safeguarding and health and safety issues.

Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Ensure all work is effectively managed and the data recorded on both is accurate and auditable. Monitor and manage the quality of provision using structured reviews of support plans, communication plans and completion reports.

Applying continuous improvement methodology to improve the delivery of services, considering both the engagement of participants on to programme and their participant journey, maximising the potential of all service channels.

All other activities identified that will support Case-UK in meeting its contractual needs for the Access to work MHSS programme.

Comply with Case-UK policies and procedures especially performance management, customer care, health and safety, diversity, equalities, dignity at work and financial regulations; and

To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required.

Team Working:.

To seek advice and direction from Line Manager as necessary in delivery of support. To assist in the development of the In Work Support Service To liaise with other agencies with and on behalf of participants as part of planned sessions. To host, attend and participate in team meetings. To represent the service in public and professional events where required. To actively contribute to, and support the team in, achieving overall success of the service.
To develop and deliver the service delivery plan for the IWSS.

Participate in project management group meetings as necessary

Administration Requirements

To comply with Welsh Government monitoring and compliance and ensure all required reports are submitted within the required timeframe.

To ensure relevant files and records are maintained, providing thorough and up to date information.

To ensure a record of all mentoring sessions on the agreed documentation are maintained

To ensure staff adhere to lone-working protocols and relevant health and safety.

Manage Risk Related Issues Appropriately

Escalating any risk issues as per Case-UK Limited Safeguarding Policy. Notifying all relevant stakeholders of any risk issues which have been escalated.
