Job Purpose
Support in the on-going delivery of the professional planning activities undertaken by Development Management Services within the Planning and Economic Development Service ensuring the efficient monitoring and enforcement of planning legislation to a wide range of customers in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council\'s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

This is a permanent full time post. The admin base for this post is The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.
Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 4pm Friday
Annual salary \xc2\xa332,997 - \xc2\xa336,400 - Pay Award pending for 2023/24
The workstyle for this post is \'Mobile\' - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required.
