Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice and support to clients in the energy sector, with a particular focus on energy finance transactions.
Draft and negotiate complex financing agreements, project documents, and related legal documentation.
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions and strategies for energy finance matters.
Assist in business development initiatives, including client presentations, pitches, and market research.
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor (ideally with E&W experience) with a previous experience of advising clients within the energy sector, preferably gained at a reputable law firm.
Solid understanding of financial transactions in the energy sector, including project financing and renewable energy finance.
Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, industry trends, and commercial aspects of energy finance transactions.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
