The role
As our energy database expert, you will drive the development of an optimised energy management reporting system, shaping the Team Sigma platform to meet the needs of the City Corporation\xe2\x80\x99s Climate Action Strategy and relevant regulatory frameworks. We\xe2\x80\x99ll look to you to devise and develop reports which investigate and measure energy data and usage, providing interpretation, analysis, advice and recommendations. Accuracy and integrity are critical, so you will also carry out regular checks on energy data, and continually improve validation processes.
About you
With a background in energy management or energy consultancy, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have a good understanding of the energy marketplace and the UK\xe2\x80\x99s energy and carbon regulatory framework. Knowledge of energy monitoring and targeting systems \xe2\x80\x93 ideally including Team Sigma \xe2\x80\x93 is important. Your proven expertise in energy analytics, and high level of proficiency in Excel and Power BI, will be matched by experience in planning and managing energy-related projects. We\xe2\x80\x99ll expect to see a relevant qualification in energy or engineering, along with proven abilities in writing technical reports and advising clients. Good communication and relationship-building skills will be essential to your success.
