Job description
Reporting to the Senior End User Device Engineer, in a small team of engineers you will:
Ensure that software requests that have passed through the standard approval process are packaged ready for deployment within the DfT environment.
Ensure that existing software packages within the estate, are subject to full lifecycle management and updates are packaged and scheduled.
Carry out comprehensive testing for large scale deployments, to ensure software and patches behave as expected.
Interact with stakeholders across departments and will reach and influence a wide range of people across larger teams and communities. Having the ability to present technical information in a confident, clear, concise direct manner to a less technical audience.
Take ownership of problems and proactively resolves technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements.
Provide technical support on incidents and implement changes for infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Proven knowledge of software packaging and deployment within a Windows enterprise environment working with SCCM and Intune.
