We always work to the principles of fairness and equality of opportunity in all our recruitment processes.Where: SwindonHours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per weekSalary: 329,093.39 - 331,529.41 depending on experience (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time) Responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesDo you understand the importance of paid employment and the vital role it can play in the lives of those in recovery or with heath conditions?Are you happy to talk with employers and help match people into meaningful work?If this sounds like you, then you might be ideal for our Employment Specialist roleSwindon's IPS team aims to increase the number of people moving into paid employment from specialist community health services.The role will help people in community treatment for substance use to find and sustain paid, preference matched, employment. Youll work with service users, clinicians, local employers and partners to deliver employment support using the Individual Placement and Support approach (IPS).About You:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication skills for effective relationship building
  • Proficient in team management and support strategies
  • Aptitude in data collection and reporting for IPS services
  • Dedication to assisting individuals secure paid employment
  • Proven ability to connect with individuals, especially those affected by substance misuse
