Employment Coordinator
to join our dynamic team on a
fixed-term contract
ending
31st July 2026.
About the Role
As our Employment Coordinator, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering tailored employment support services. You'll empower residents to overcome barriers, develop their skills, and achieve their aspirations - helping them to live well and sustain tenancies.
This is a hands-on role working closely with internal teams, local partners, schools, training providers, and employers to create opportunities and build pathways to sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one support, creating personal development plans to help tenants into employment, education or enterprise
Develop and maintain partnerships with local employers and training providers
Support recruitment and induction for trade apprenticeships
Promote opportunities through social media and community outreach
Collaborate with internal teams to identify challenges and develop responsive solutions
Lead on tracking, monitoring, and reporting employment outcomes
Represent WCHG at community and partner events
What We're Looking For
Experience delivering one-to-one employability support
Level 3 IAG qualification (or similar)
Strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills
Knowledge of employment-related programmes and services
Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills
A person-centred approach and passion for making a difference
