Mencap\'s Lifestyles and Work team provide supported employment programmes for people with a learning disability. Employ Me\'s Right Start Programme is a funded project that provides support to gain the skills, knowledge and experience to support learners explore the world of work.

We have an opportunity for an Employment Caseworker to join our Employ Me team to deliver our Right Start provision to schools across the London Borough of Sutton. This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) contracted until the end of July 2024.

We are looking for individuals who can work on their own initiative, have good communication skills across all levels, interpersonal skills and be approachable.

The successful Employment Caseworker will directly support people with a learning disability, autism and special educational needs (SEND) in education settings, delivering employability sessions.

You will work collaboratively with schools and colleges to identify groups of learners to take part in the Right Start programme, delivering identified sessions. In this role you will build positive relationships with new schools and colleges to support the ongoing delivery of the Right Start Provision.

It is essential that all candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Math (or equivalent) at interview stage.

This role will close on Tuesday 18th July and interviews will be via MS Teams soon after.
