About the Role: We are seeking a friendly and experienced Employer's Agent to join our multidisciplinary Birmingham team with the potential for hybrid working.
Projects: You will work on a variety of schemes including new builds, regeneration, residential, commercial, education, and blue light projects.
You will be responsible for client liaison, project management, and contract administration across various building types. Your role will include preparing feasibility reports, contract documents, budget estimates, and tendering procedures. You will also manage project work, attend meetings, and ensure the quality and progress of works.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with clients and present schemes.
Act as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
Prepare and present initial appraisals and feasibility reports.
Prepare contract documents and budget estimates.
Manage tendering procedures and contract arrangements.
Attend project meetings and prepare minutes.
Monitor project progress and quality.
Advise clients on CDM Regulations.
Issue Employer's Agent instructions and financial statements.
Coordinate inspections and handovers.
Agree final accounts with contractors.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Post-qualification experience in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management.
BSc (Hons) degree in above or similar.
Experience in a consultancy environment
Employers Agent experience
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
Associate membership of RICS or equivalent.
Experience working on Residential and/or Education projects
