About the role
As our ER Specialist, you'll play a key role in enabling leaders to make confident and fair decisions around employee relations issues, performance management, and other related topics. Whether it's coaching on how to handle complex cases or supporting new managers in understanding policy, your calm and pragmatic approach will help drive great outcomes and nurture our people-centric culture
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Providing ER advice to managers across the business, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters
Supporting managers on complex casework, liaising with our employment lawyers as required
Helping to design and deliver manager upskilling sessions
Proactively monitoring employment law legislation and ensuring our internal policies keep pace
What we're looking for
You're proactive, calm under pressure, and able to balance pace with attention to detail. You're capable of building trust, coaching and influencing managers at all levels of seniority. You're also curious, collaborative, and adaptable - someone who loves solving problems and helping others to succeed.
You'll also be able to demonstrate:
Strong employee relations knowledge, with confidence advising on complex cases
Able to coach managers and influence senior stakeholders
A solid understanding of UK employment law and its practical application
Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
The package
We offer a basic starting salary of
up to 45,000
, plus a bonus of up to
