What You'll Be Doing:
In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will:
Provide expert HR advice
to managers and leaders, ensuring alignment with company policies, employment law, and best practices.
Manage complex employee relations cases
, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, absence, and investigations, ensuring compliance and fair outcomes.
Draft clear, legally sound documentation
, including outcome letters, investigation reports, and case summaries.
Coach and guide managers
, equipping them with the confidence and knowledge to handle employee issues effectively.
Analyse ER trends
, identifying key themes and making proactive recommendations to improve policies, reduce risk, and enhance employee experience.
Keep up to date with employment law changes
, ensuring the business remains compliant and prepared for legislative updates.
Support change management initiatives
, including restructures, TUPE transfers, and policy development.
Build strong relationships
with stakeholders across the business, fostering a culture of trust, fairness, and accountability.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as an
HR Advisor
, Employee Relations Specialist, or HR Generalist in a fast-moving environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with a track record of successfully managing employee relations cases.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex HR processes in a clear and engaging way.
Confidence to challenge, influence, and coach managers while maintaining strong working relationships.
Attention to detail, ensuring all advice and documentation are accurate and legally compliant.
